Import cargo operations
Karachi (KHI)
State of the art Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) equipped facility is spanned over 72,000 sq. ft. The warehouse, fondly dubbed as "Phoenix" import cargo warehouse is the only facility in Pakistan's air cargo industry to have following features:
- Cold storage (2-8°C, 15-25°C and a freezer section)
- ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System)
- Mini shipment tower for small parcels/packages
- Dedicated DG (Dangerous Goods) storage area
- Customer service counters with queue management system
- Centralised customs

- Additional weigh scale and exit gate for traffic management
- Offloading dock to increase offloading capacity.
- Queue management system for trucking (exports) & for consignee
- clearing documentation processes (import).
In addition to this, Lahore cargo operations are being further bolstered with a warehouse covering over 49,000 sq. ft. This facility will enable,
- Tonnage capacity increase by 320 tons
- Exclusive traffic management for cargo/shipper
- Exclusive ASF security checks for airside cargo movement
- Smooth handling with Cold Storage, DGR, AVI, VAL, PO mail & Courier etc.
